BULLS BEAT BRONCOS FOR FIFTH SUCCESSIVE WIN

BRADFORD Bulls produced a five-star performance to make it five wins on the bounce, defeating London Broncos 33-8 in the capital with new signing Ellis Robson grabbing a double.

The Bulls fell behind early on when Rhys Curran burrowed his way over, but the visitors quickly levelled the scores through Aaron Murphy.

Things got even better for the Bulls as two quick fire tries through Thomas Doyle and Brandon Pickersgill pushed Bradford’s lead out to ten.

Danny Brough slotted over a drop goal before the break to add a crucial one point. 

There was no sign of slowing down after the break as new signing Ellis Robson grabbed a double on his first start for the club to seal the points, with Brough converting a penalty goal either side of the tries. 

Head Coach John Kear handed debuts to Ellis Robson and new signing Mitieli Vulkijapani as Bradford looked to continue their impressive winning streak.

However, they fell behind early on as Curran crashed over in the corner to hand London the lead. 

Their advantage was wiped out soon after, as Murphy darted through to touch down. 

Chris Hankinson added another two points for London, but Bradford came roaring back with a quickfire double. 

Two Bradford Academy products then grabbed themselves tries to take the game away from London, firstly Doyle, burrowing his way over from dummy half.

Then two academy products in Brown and Pickersgill then combined to send the latter over for his third try in three games. 

Brough then added a drop goal on the stroke of half time after sustained pressure on the London line. 

After the break, Bradford showed no signs of letting up, as debutant Robson took a short ball and shot underneath the posts.

Robson, then in try scoring mood, found himself on the end of another break to push Bradford further away from London, scoring his second.
