FLEMING PENS BULLS RETURN

WE are delighted to announce powerful front-row forward Dan Fleming has signed a one-year deal with the club!

The 2021 season will represent the 28-year-old’s second spell in the red, amber and black – having previously been a Bull for two year in 2015 and 2016.

Stints at Toronto Wolfpack and Castleford Tigers fell either side of time at Halifax RLFC prior to penning his return to the Bulls.

Fleming will link up with his International Head Coach John Kear – with the forward representing ‘The Dragons’.

Bradford boss Kear insists his side have recruited a player who ‘causes problems’ and is of ‘high quality’.

“We are really pleased to have signed Dan – obviously he has been at the Bulls before and he enjoyed his time at the club then,” said Kear, who is sponsored by Bradford Bulls Banter.

“He has been to the likes of Toronto Wolfpack, Halifax RLFC and Castleford Tigers since and whenever he has played against us he has always caused problems.

“Obviously knowing him from our time together at Wales I know not only can he play a high number of minutes but also play at a very high level.

“He is an experienced player but at 28, he has plenty of time in front of him and he is in a good stage of his career.

“Dan knows that he will get good gametime should his form warrant it but he will be good for the likes of Levy Nzoungou and Ebon Scurr too.

“He is a great example for them and he sits alongside Steve Crossley who has enjoyed a similar career path, we have a good blend in the pack and we are delighted to have Dan on board.”
