BULLS LATE BLITZ SEALS WIN OVER ROVERS

Bradford Bulls scored three tries in the final ten minutes to secure a hard-fought 22-8 victory over Featherstone Rovers this afternoon.
Brian Noble made six changes to his team, with James Meadows, Kieran Gill, Eliot Peposhi, Sam Hallas, Tyran Ott coming into the side alongside Jamie Gill, who made his First Team debut.
With attritional conditions playing their part as errors crept into both teams, points were well and truly at a premium as a try-less first half saw both sides head into halftime with two points on the scoreboard.
Danny Addy kicked Featherstone’s penalty after a spell of pressure, with Luke Hooley levelling the scores on the hooter from 40 metres.
The first try of the game came on 51 minutes, when a neat move between hands saw Connor Barley touch down in the left corner for Featherstone.
Bradford rallied as the game wore on and a moment of magic from Joe Keyes saw him dummy and dart through the visiting defence to score.
A penalty on the following set then gave the Bulls another set inside Featherstone territory and Tom Holmes charged onto a short pass to give Bradford the lead.
With the hooter seconds away, a lovely linking move from right to left saw Kieran Gill dive over in the corner to seal a superb comeback win for the Bulls.
