FULL STEAM AHEAD FOR THE WAINE TRAIN
New recruit Emmanuel Waine has spoken of his determination to use his experience in Super League to bolster Brian Noble’s Bradford Bulls next year – alongside his excitement at getting started in the red, amber and black.
The PNG powerhouse signed a two-year deal to join the Bulls from London Broncos ahead of the eagerly anticipated 2025 season.
A series of explosive displays in Super League for the Broncos saw the versatile forward dubbed ‘The Waine Train’.
And with pre-season getting tougher with the start of the season drawing ever closer, it’s full steam ahead for Manu.
“I am excited to be joining a new team and club London been good to me last two years, learnt a lot but coming up to Bradford is another experience so looking forward to it and in pre-season now working hard and getting back to it.
“I spoke to a few of my friends who know Bradford and the coaching staff, they gave me an insight into the team and the culture and I thought it would be a good move for me.
“Every week in pre-season is getting tougher and tougher but getting my body right and doing recovery is important. I am looking forward to getting pre-season done then playing the style of footy I am used to playing and hopefully stay away from injury.
“I am looking forward to using my experience from Super League back in the Championship and looking to finish strong and try get back into Super League with Bradford.
“My goal is to get back into Super League and I will do my best to bring Bradford back into Super League, the coaches and players as well are looking forward to this season and hopefully getting back up next year.”
