BRADFORD BULLS MEMORIAL GARDEN
Ahead of the official launch of the Bradford Bulls Memorial Garden, we’d like to thank our founding sponsors and volunteers who have helped make this concept a reality.
In partnership with Bradford College, the concept of a Memorial Garden at the club’s Bartercard Odsal Stadium home was designed to offer the community of Bradford a place to remember their loved ones.
We’d like to thank HF Wealth for their generous support in making the garden a reality, alongside Varley’s Builders Merchants, Bradford College, Jonathan Forrest, Craig Bowstead at Black Label Group, Joe Pitts, Premdeck, Estate Sawmills and Northcliffe Environmental Enterprise Team (NEET) – without whose contribution, this wouldn’t have been possible.
We’d also like to thank Arthur Redmonds, Dave Lawton and Chris Illingworth who have maintained the garden throughout its conception as we await the official launch.
Club Chaplain Chris Mason said:
“The Bradford Bulls are honoured to be able to provide a safe space for the community of Bradford to come and commemorate their loved ones at the club’s spiritual home.
“It is truly humbling to see the first Memorial plaques being installed on our remembrance board – a huge thank you to the team of sponsors and volunteers who have supported and encouraged the project from the beginning. We hope the memorial garden will be a space of hope as many remember and celebrate their loved ones.”
Joe Pitts, Memorial Garden sponsor and former Bradford Bulls’ Non Executive Director said:
“I’d like to thank all our volunteers, founding members and partners for their continued efforts in getting our Memorial Garden ready for an official opening.
“The idea of the Memorial Garden has been around for many years, but gained fresh momentum with Bradford College in late 2022 and it has been a very rewarding and humbling experience to this point, knowing we are providing a space for people to remember their loved ones who’ve sadly passed away.
“The Memorial Garden further represents the Bradford Bulls’ growing legacy within the community and I am privileged to have been a part of this project which will provide solace to so many.”
Details around the official launch will follow in due course.
