We are delighted to introduce our new Scholarship intake for the 2025 season - with 17 players presented to the Bartercard Odsal crowd at half-time yesterday.

Head of Youth Ryan Hunkin, who is sponsored by Fleur Hall, said:

“I am delighted with the new cohort of scholarship players we introduced to our club yesterday, the work the Talent ID team headed by Alex Stephens have done in pulling the squad together has been outstanding.

“It is a very special moment for the players, and families, and one for them to celebrate and recognise the achievements in gaining a scholarship.

“The community clubs where these players have been enjoying their Rugby League from a young age continue to do a great job in developing not just rugby skills but life skills and we are thankful for the army of volunteers that put so much in to the game of Rugby League.

“Myself and my staff cannot wait to get these young players in to training at Tong and watch them develop over the next 2 years and beyond.”
