LUCKY 13 FOR BULLS IN DERBY DRUBBING

Debutant Jorge Fautua and Kieran Gill both scored hat tricks as Bradford Bulls ran in 13 tries to demolish rivals Keighley Cougars 74-12 to move up to fifth in the Betfred Championship table.

The Bulls raced out of the starting blocks and quickly established an early lead when Lee Gaskell’s chip into the corner was grounded superbly by Ben Blackmore.

Gaskell once again became chief creator when a double pump by the returning AJ Wallace through a gap to score.

The boot of Dec Patton was next to assist a Bradford try, his chip was collected and finished by Jorge Taufua.

Gaskell and Wallace then combined again with the latter scoring his second try of the afternoon.

Keighley would register a score prior to the break when Aaron Levy stretched out to score from close range.

The Bulls began the second half in the same vein they started the first and the impressive Ebon Scurr then barged his way over from close range.

Another debutant, Connor Wynne, then pounced on a James Segeyaro kick for his first try in Bradford colours.

The home side were rampant and a break down the right led to a break down the left with Taufua grabbing his second.

A familiar duo then combined, Patton kicking through for Kieran Gill to score his 15th try of the season.

Taufua then got his hat-trick, Gaskell spreading a pass out wide to give the winger an easy finish in the corner.

Patton and Gill combined again with the latter superbly juggling the ball to ground, before Blackmore grabbed his second of the afternoon following a superb break down the right edge.

Charlie Graham grabbed a consolation score for Keighley before Gill secured his hat trick having collected a loose ball.

On the hooter, Connor Wynne danced his way through for his second on debut, with Bodene Thompson marking his farewell appearance with two conversions.
