MATCH REPORT | SCHOLARS DOWN AIRLIE BIRDS

Bradford Bulls' Under-16s produced a superb display to beat Hull FC 28-20 at the University of Hull last night.
The Young Bulls got off to the better start and two unanswered scores were just reward for their early pressure.
On 12 minutes, Freddie Butler put Harvey Duckworth through a gap for the latter to continue his impressive try-scoring form.
Henry Welsh got in on the act minutes later, with a show and go on the Hull line providing the space for him to squeeze over.
The home side hit back with two tries of their own, Toby Matson and Finley Mainprize both scoring with the Bulls holding a slender half-time advantage.
Martyn Oxbury's charges started the second half in the same vein they begun the first, with successive unanswered scores.
After a spell of pressure, George McKinley crashed over before Sam Spencer pounced on a loose ball to extend Bradford's lead.
A brief response from Henry Watkinson narrowed the gap, but Issac Lee outjumped his opposite number to collect a Butler kick to score.
Lennon Nicholson and Watkinson then set up a nervy finale to move one score away, before Lee grabbed his second try of the evening to seal a superb night's work for the Young Bulls.
