SCOTT SIGNS FOR 2023

Bradford Bulls are delighted to announce that experienced second-row Sam Scott has signed a new one-year deal with the club!

The 32-year-old signed with the club prior to the 2022 season but saw it cut short as a long-term injury ruled him out for the season during the game vs Halifax Panthers.

Sam still managed four appearances and one try, in the Challenge Cup win at London Broncos.

He is now looking to make up for lost time, after signing a new one-year deal with the club for 2023.

“I’m absolutely delighted to sign for another year at Bradford Bulls, last year didn’t go to plan from a personal perspective and I’m looking to right a few wrongs and repay the faith that Mark has shown in me”, said Sam, who is sponsored by Poppy and Damian Farr.

“Obviously, I want to make up for lost time, I only played a handful of games last year and didn’t show the Bradford fans my best over a whole season, I’d say in the games I played I had a good dig.

“The club has shown faith in me, offering me another year and I want to show them what I can do consistently over a whole season and really help the club climb the league table.

“I’ve played in this division for over 8 years now, so I know what it’s all about, that experience is invaluable, and I hope it rubs off on some of the younger lads we have.

“I started training towards the back end of last season but didn’t want to rush back and ensure that I was totally ready for 2023, to ensure that I had the best possible chance to play consistently.

“Next year is a fresh start, Mark will be putting his own stamp on things, and we want the fans to stick with us, I love playing for this club and we need a big start to bring that feel good factor back around here for the fans.

“It all starts with us, we dictate what happens on the pitch so we need to get that pride back in the shirt and realise what it means to play for this club, then it’ll have a knock on effect within the whole club and Bradford in general.”
