FOGGIN-JOHNSTON TO REMAIN A BULL IN 2023

Bradford Bulls are excited to announce that flying winger David Foggin-Johnston will remain a Bull in 2023, after signing a new one-year deal!

Foggin-Johnston, who signed for the club in 2019 from Hunslet RLFC, has gone on to make 43 appearances to date, scoring a handful of tries.

The 26-year-old has cemented himself as a fans' favourite, with a number of committed performances on the wing in the Red, Amber and Black in his four years at the club.

David will be looking to continue as he left off in 2022, after cementing his place in the squad.

DFJ commented on how he has built huge relationships with the club and is looking to continue them into 2023 after putting pen to paper on a one-year deal.

"I'm over the moon to sign a new deal here, my family is too! I've built massive relationships with the club and its loyal supporters and I didn't want my journey to end here." Said Foggin-Johnston, who is sponsored by Dave Green and Anne Fish.

"Bradford Bulls is my home, I've said it before I want to play here and give 100% whenever I take the field, I want to help the squad give justice for this year as it wasn't good enough by our standards. I owed it to myself and the supporters to come back again next year and improve on this season.

"We know that next season, our goals are nothing short of the play-offs, we obviously aim to go further than that, as it's the least we want but we have to buy into what Mark (Dunning) wants from us and we'll see how we go.

"Like I said, Bradford (Bulls) is my home now and I've had some of the most memorable games here, I've built a life away from the club to suit my time here.

"I'd like to say a massive thank you to all the fans and my amazing Sponsors Anne and Dave who have really supported me, with having some tough times this year away from Rugby, they've all put their arm around me and made me feel welcome.

"I've fallen in love with the club and I want nothing but the best for Bradford."

Head Coach Mark Dunning also discussed how pleased he is to have Foggin-Johnston as part of his 2023 squad.

"I'm pleased for us and Dee (Foggin-Johnston) that we were able to get it done, It gives us good strength and competition within our squad, he's hard working and committed to improving his game." Said Mark, who is sponsored by Crystal Clear Bi-Folds.

"As discussed before, we're trying to change the cultures and behaviours within our club, and Dee understands this and encapsulates this, he's built a great relationship with the club and its loyal fans and he's good to have around the squad.

"Dee is a coachable guy, he's always wanting to learn and take new things on board, we're really pleased to have him signed up for 2023."
