SCHOLARSHIP INTAKE ANNOUNCED

Ahead of the 2023 Scholarship Season, we can now announce the new players that will be joining our system!

We are very pleased to welcome the new intakes to the club. They are players we have been aware of for some time and believe they will adapt well coming into a scholarship environment.

A big thanks must go to our Talent IDs Jason Jubb, Davey Dixon, Antony Ward, Lee Cosgrove, Anthony Baker, Lee Aston and Luke Helliwell who managed to cover off so much activity for us. They are out every weekend, in all weather conditions, looking at players they think will transition well to a scholarship programme and looking for the type of player that have excelled at our club.

The players community coaches have also all been fantastic in taking the time to give us insight into how dedicated the players are currently within their own community environments. 

We still have a number of spaces available for scholarship places for this age group, if we choose to take more players, and the community game is back up and running after the summer break so our scouts will be out watching to see how players have developed since we last watched them. 

We will also be monitoring players through our Foundations ETP Programme, which we have done to good effect over the last few seasons, to see how invested some players are with their own development.
