WORLD CUP TROPHIES HEAD TO ODSAL

Ahead of the eagerly anticipated 2021 Rugby League World Cup, the trophies on offer will be heading to Odsal Stadium on 1st September as we open the Stadium for you to have your photo taken with the World Cup!

Rugby League World Cup 2021 is celebrating the biggest, best, and most inclusive World Cup ever, kicking off in England on 15 October 2022. 

 It’s less than 50 days until the biggest, best and most inclusive Rugby League World Cup arrives in England on 15 October and makes a huge impact across the nation, welcoming the world’s best teams and galvanising civic pride in England’s towns and cities. 

 To celebrate the build up to tournament, on Thursday 1 September, we hosted the three World Cup Trophies in all their glory at the Odsal Stadium as part of our 20-year anniversary of winning the Club World Cup, welcoming junior clubs of all ages, ex and present players of the game as well as PDRL and Wheelchair teams.

 From October 15^th, the Rugby League World Cup will host 61 World Class fixtures across the Men’s, Women’s, and Wheelchair World Cups which all culminate in Manchester on the 18^th and 19^th of November, where for the first time in Rugby League history, three finals will take place in the same city within 24 hours!
