RESERVES MATCH REPORT

Bradford Bulls Reserves fell to a 30-18 defeat against a strong Huddersfield Giants outfit on Saturday.

Mark Dunning’s were the first to trouble the scoreboard in a tightly contested opening quarter, when Adam Horner took a crash ball from Matthew Scott to touch down.

The Giants hit back when former Bull Cory Aston – featuring on dual registration from Halifax Panthers – raced through to score.

Soon after, Bradford’s lead was restored through Jayden Myers – the young outside back benefitting from good work from Aiden Ineson to score.

The visitors levelled proceedings once again shortly after the interval, when Darius Carter forced his way over from close range.

Another former Bull, Oliver Roberts – then scored Huddersfield’s third try to hand the Giants their first lead of the afternoon.

Oliver Whitford and Cody Downey then scored as the Giants registered a quickfire double to stretch their lead to 18.

The Young Bulls did manage a late response however, Aidan Scully barging his way over.
