MEET THE NEW SIGNINGS

As we sit just 13 days away from a return to action, we look at those who could don the red, amber and black for the first time...

Dec Patton

The 2019 Challenge Cup winner signed a one-year deal to join the Bulls from Super League outfit Salford Red Devils.

The 26-year-old broke through the ranks at Warrington Wolves and spent six years at ‘The Wire’ before joining Salford Red Devils in 2021.

Patton also boasts an excellent goalkicking record, having kicked 142 goals in 108 games at Warrington – and scored in the 2016 Super League Grand Final.

Dec will link up with fellow half-backs Jordan Lilley, Billy Jowitt and Charlie Harris in 2022.

Elliot Hall

Hall signed a two-year deal with the Bulls in October, having also begun working at the club in the Marketing department.

The 24-year-old arrives bringing an impressive try-scoring record on the back of a campaign with the Batley Bulldogs that saw him knock Bradford out of the play-offs - scoring his 11th try of the season.

Elliot is also the grandson of former Australian great Duncan Hall, who was named in the NRL Hall of Fame and the Australian Team of the Decade.

Kieran Gill

The 25-year-old, who came through the Academy ranks at Castleford Tigers, has scored an incredible 48 tries in 43 appearances for Newcastle Thunder, including 14 tries in 2021.

Gill, who stands tall at 6ft 3in, scored four tries for the Tigers having made his first team debut in 2016 before enjoying prolific loan spells at Oldham RLFC prior to joining the Thunder.

Kieran Gill play as either a centre, or on the wing and brings some serious firepower to John Kear’s playing roster in 2022.

Ryan Millar

The man who has been dubbed ‘The Fastest Man in the Betfred Championship’ arrives having spent seven years as an Eagle, having come through the club’s Academy system.

The 27-year-old scored 54 tries across his time under Mark Aston and played a key role in 2015 – when Sheffield made the Middle Eight qualifiers.

Millar featured in Sheffield’s 1895 Cup triumph in 2019 and joins the likes of Matty Dawson-Jones and David Foggin-Johnston as speedsters in John Kear’s ranks.

Sam Scott

Scott arrives at the club following four years at York City Knights – where he played a pivotal role in their 2018 League One success and the 2019 Betfred Championship play-off charge.

The 31-year-old is reunited with John Kear – who he played under at Batley when the Bulldogs finished third in the sport’s second tier.

Samy Kibula

The 22-year-old was a member of Wigan’s Academy side that enjoyed Grand Final success in 2017 and 2018.

Standing tall at 6ft 4ins, the Congo-born forward then joined ‘The Wire’ in 2020, having enjoyed loan spells at Swinton Lions and Dewsbury Rams in 2019.

Samy is no stranger to scoring at Odsal Stadium, having gone over for a try in the Lions’ 34-34 draw two years ago.

Jordan Baldwinson

The 26-year-old is back for a ‘third’ spell in the red, amber and black – having spent time on loan at the club in 2014 and 2021 and this time, it’s permanent.

Having come through the Leeds Rhinos’ Academy, Baldwinson has featured for the likes of Featherstone Rovers, Halifax Panthers and Wakefield Trinity in recent years before joining the Knights in 2019.

The middle featured in Bradford’s August trip to Halifax Panthers and now looks forward to a prolonged stay having penned a two year deal.

Coby Nichol

Coby Nichol is an aggressive, tall three-quarter who came through the Scholarship and Academy ranks at Leeds Rhinos.

He has penned a one-year deal to join the Bulls – and brings experience of playing for England Youth against France.

AJ Wallace

AJ – like Coby Nichol – joins the Bulls on a one year deal from Leeds Rhinos.

He also featured against France for England Youth in 2019, but AJ features in the middle or the back row.

Charlie Harris

Harris came through the Scholarship and Academy system at Castleford Tigers before penning a one-year deal having impressed for the Tigers' Academy side in both fixtures against Bradford in 2021.

The skilful youngster is the fourth half-back in John Kear’s ranks, alongside Dec Patton, Jordan Lilley and Billy Jowitt.
