SCURR TARGETS BIGGER IMPACT IN 2022

Ebon Scurr has spoken of his determination to have more of an impact in 2022 – fresh off penning a new two-year deal with the club!

The young powerhouse, who has quickly become a fans favourite, made seventeen appearances this season, scoring three tries.

Renowned for his lung busting runs, Scurr is another product of the famed Bradford Bulls Academy and joins fellow homegrown star Thomas Doyle in committing his future to the club.

The 21-year-old is eager to be in the best condition possible, having started pre-season training yesterday.

“I am really glad to have got it sorted, especially to have got a two year deal which is a good thing for me,”said Scurr, who is sponsored by Bull-Tech Solutions/ In Memory of Sheila McCormick.

“I am looking to improve my fitness so I am able to player longer minutes in matches and have the impact that I do for a longer period of time.

“I feel like the injury came at a bad time but I think things happen for a reason, injuries happen it’s a contact sport but it has rested me ahead of this year if anything.

“I Just want to get ripped in to pre-season, try get in the best condition I can physically before the season starts so I can be as much of an influential player as I can.

“It is an honour really to see the support, coming through here and then playing and hearing the fans chant your name it is surreal.

“When you watch games as a kid and hear fans chanting names, it is a dream for you as a player and the fans are amazing so it is great to get that recognition from them.”
