CLUB ISSUE SHEFFIELD UPDATE
Bradford Bulls can confirm we have asked the RFL to allocate a date to rearrange our postponed clash with Sheffield Eagles.
A club spokesperson said:
“At a Championship/League One clubs meeting last week, the RFL requested clubs fulfil fixtures where possible and we are supportive of that position.
“We understand there are still logistical issues regarding travelling to France for fixtures but when clubs are only 30 miles away we would certainly look to fulfil the match. We are a professional sport and fulfilling fixtures has to be our fundamental priority.
“We suggested Wednesday 18th August as a potential date but have not heard back and we are still waiting to hear if the season will be extended to allow clubs to fulfil their postponed fixtures.
“The club will update supporters on this matter when more information becomes available.”
